Analysis of Greece
Oh, running coastlines
Water's hittin' me
Here comes Crete
To my feet
Ain't no rain
Till it's night
Oh that sun
No greed here
Grazing on the grass
Climbing on trees
Oh blowing wind
Ever felt so free
Swinging on vines
Not full of me
In the water
I gave nature
Heard in the water
Filled with clutter
With their mothers
Some left alone
Just to suffer
Thinking of choices
What should I do
Only one good option
That's best for you
Out on the edge of Greece
Walking on coastlines
Now I'm one with peace
Living in paradise
Swimming in the ocean
To the open waters
Setting sun, soon have rose
People walking on the streets
Oh, the awful memories
Society falls beneath
Nothing but stand on two feet
What happened here
Crowded, beating streets
Innocent running in fear
The tidal waves, change my face
Blue to red,
we will end
Silent, but visual
Fiery flames, open fires
Destroyed structures, Loss of lives
People walking on the streets
Quiet as it will ever be
Just another sunny day
We people, live to decay
Oh, running coastlines
Water's hitting me
Oh, running coastlines
Water's hitting me
Here comes Crete
To my feet
Ain't no rain
Till it's night
Oh that sun
No greed here
Grazing on grass
Climbing the trees
Oh blowing wind
Never felt so free
Swinging on vines
Not full of me
In the water
I gave nature
Heard in the water
Filled with clutter
With their mothers
Some left alone
Just to suffer
Thinking of choices
What should I do
Only one good option
That's best for you
Just to say goodbye
Leave me all alone
Watching as I cry
End of the road gets closer
Ocean fades 'fore my eye
Over here the sun don't shine
Blue to red goes the sky
Gray clouds fly right by
My own bed that I lie
In which I will cry
Couldn't say I had tried
All due to my
War in myself
I couldn't forget the shore
From my home far away
Take me aboard
And start sail today
Find new land
Across the sea
But in the end
It's only glee
Right in my eye
Make my own fun
As shapes fly by
To newfound waters
Years from now it'll grow
By my side like a brother
Oh those tides I'll miss
When the memories pass
All forgotten bliss
Taken away, by the blue mass
Oh how I adore
The sandy bright shores
As I lay there and cry
I know I have to say goodbye
To which brought me here
Goodbye my little Greece
Oh running coastlines
Water's hittin' me
Sun's a friend
Full of ambition
Ride the end
Of bad decisions
Watch it fall
After it had risen
In the water
I gave nature

About this poem
I wrote this poem because I had a friend who was obsessed with Greece, so I wrote a poem for him and this is mainly about nature and society.
