Analysis of Growing Pains
Cat Evans 1970 (Minnesota)
I've been trying for so long
just to make you see;
that a lot of changes
have happened to me.
You hurt me deeply
when you were living inside.
Whenever you came
I only wanted to hide.
You seem to be trying
I can hear you cry.
I really want to help you
I'm not sure why.
I hope as we grow older
we will see the light.
Maybe we can learn
how to live and not fight.
