Analysis of My Quill
With pen in hand, I write
Of ghoul and goblin, knave and knight.
Across the pages the words flow
Of things that I do and do not know,
As though by Merlin’s magic wand.
Which speaks to me of things from beyond,
That ears do not hear and eyes do not see.
I plunge into the abyss, a deep black sea
And I speak in tongues of many lands
Scrawling my wisdom in the sands
That time has forgotten as I take my fill.
Yet to me like life, no less unreal
My adventurous journeys will never stand still
And minds will marvel and sup their fill
As long as words flow from my quill.
