Analysis of Rain Ahead
Some dark foreboding clouds
Farmers say it’s dry
Do not see things
As those who scurry about
We have our parks
June events long planned
Picnics with those loved.
Potato salad, chips, sausages
Ready to go.
Baseball gear in the trunk
Kites perhaps, gaily coloured.
For air dancing.
But look above.
And now growling
Nothing’s the matter.
