Analysis of Just Enough

Selective Christian faith is for
The ones who rarely read
The Bible which they fast explore
For peace of mind they need.

They seem to think the "Bread of Life"
Comes from a nice buffet,
Until some unexpected strife
Begins to come their way.

That's when they look just long enough
To ease the sinful guilt
They feel when life gets very rough
And faith begins to wilt.
