Analysis of Gay Negro Gremlins Dancing Between The Pages
Al BArtolis 1957 (NC)
If Dick’s hypotenuse is hanging loose,
How would you square it with Mother Goose?
If you add ignorance to abject fear,
Will the sum of both be gender queer?
If Mary was born two years after Ray,
Would it matter if he was straight or gay?
If cops shot one black, but all four were white,
Would educational standards have a dog in the fight?
If you teach kids about emotion,
Will they break out the K-Y lotion?
By teaching diversity, and to make a stand,
Will they learn adversely, and to hate their land?
Helping kids with thoughts and feeling,
Won’t make their genitalia more appealing.
Offering them clear voices and empowerment,
Won’t lead to queer choices of deflowerment.
White kids should face their forebears’ failing,
And be immune to racist wailing.
Don’t shame them, they didn’t start the fire,
That flames your hateful, racist ire.
Don’t hide the truth or try to save face,
And reinforce myths of a superior race.
Put wisdom and knowledge back in place,
Don’t mix math with hate or time with space.

About this poem
Several states, most notable Florida, are banning textbooks, even math books, in public schools. They fear that sex-ed programs, and SEL initiatives, which help kids with their emotions, are indoctrinating them towards gay and transgender lifestyles. Books have also been banned for teaching Critical Race Theory, for fear that it teaches white kids to be unpatriotic and to hate their own ethnicity.
