Analysis of The Clock
Beks Bogart 1986 (Tamuning)
Tick tock goes the clock
She was supposed to say goodbye to me and with that thought my breath did not come it slipped as my heart did drop and then she kept me and my hold and now I’m at her disposal & happier than I could’ve imagined being, sitting here with such loss and such gain and such hope and such pain with feeling that only continue to grow and with an ache only she can soothe.
Tick tock goes the clock
She’s supposed To be with you
There can be no other explanation. So you reach and search yet restrict and reserve for a few weeks isn’t enough to leave a lifetime of memories but to allow someone to overtake you... that in itself is miraculous and gut wrenching all at once. You’ve overtaken me.
Tick tock how the clock doth stop and stand still at the command of those that fathom a world without a precise and perfect time line.
You think my broken and bent is beautiful. I see your beauty lining every hard working curve and crevice and the talent and yearning to be prowled upon in sense that is intellectually seductive and you’ve intellectually and emotionally seduced me in turn making the want into unbearable need.
Tick tick tock that god forsaken clock it won’t let well enough alone.
I’m well enough in my pile of existing in existence shopping for gifts for my woman who is the woman of another and thinking we’re out of our minds to keep at it.
Tick tock I muted the sound of the clock and replaced it with visuals and well placed pictures of parts of you mixed with your words and as I reach between my thighs and sigh out your name... the rush it hits in every direction. I’m deep... in thought and in need and in lust of what I hope to be just mine one day.. slightly salivating at the thought of her lips on mine. My lips on her. Night by night until my hands fingers and mouth make their way between the most anticipated parting and into what I know will only be the beginning of an endlessly thrilling experience making all this finally make perfectly incredible sense.
Tick tock goes the clock as you lay in slumber and I unwind for the night ..
to hear maybe from you hopefully all day from you. There’s no real way to escape from you.
Even the damn clock is aware of your grasp.
So tick tick tock away good clock bc my theater mind body stay in wait and you’ll divvy out your say with fate.
Be good to her as you move by.
Drop her in my arms one night
