Analysis of In the blink of an eye
I wake from the darkness to say hi to the world
A bright light meets my eyes as the as the sun meets the earth
I wake out of dark to see my child born
I wake from the darkness to feel the morning like dew on the grass
I feel new
I wake to hear my grandchildren calling papaw push us
Like the rays of the sun kissing the clouds do I feel a little wiser
I wake from the darkness a bright light meets my old eyes
I wait till all are near to say goodbye as I close my eyes back to the darkness now
What will be I don't know a light darkness all unknown
In a blink of an eye I am gone now to a new journey
Life it's all in the blink of the eye
