Analysis of My Skin
I am more than just the skin,
the skin I'm living in.
I am breath of God and spirit of fire.
I am passions pulp and pure desire
with an angels heart, and goddess within
I am far from just this skin.

About this poem
I wrote this after a period of frustration with how women and especially young girls are inundated with images of what they should look like. And I wanted to send a positive message.
