Analysis of It Should Not Take Decades
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
It should not take,
A repeating of deception.
For decades to have anyone,
Claiming to be unaware...
Of lies told.
Changing dramatically,
The sanity of their once normal life to live.
How crazed can minds become made to get?
To suddenly welcome threats of diversity.
The color of one's skin and ethnicity.
With descendents of bigots and racists,
Declaring themselves not to be replaced.
On a place their ancestors,
Arrived as immigrants.
Unable to speak the language.
Yet...
Came from foreign shores.
To deliberately replace those native born.
And then,
Expect them to teach what it is they do.
Done to steal and defend with weapons.
After pretending to be friends.
While taking away what does not belong...
To thieves who deceive.
Doing this never to leave the claim,
Ownership from an inheritance...
Bestowed upon them by corrupted ancestors!
And the beat goes on.
With renovated updates.
And the beat goes on.
Thieves declaring themselves victims,
While given authority...
To replace those they victimize.
And the beat goes on,
With the building of condos.
Luxurized.
By...
The gentrification of black neighborhoods.
And the beat goes on.
To prove,
What money to steal it can do.
Going on.
To prove,
Who is subjected to move.
And become the ones who have been...
Disenfranchised.
Today,
Made...
Into franchises monopolized.
By...
The greedy.
Breeding...
Franchises monopolized.
On the backs of the poor, hungry and needy.
Fed to feed on vicious lies.
And left to believe,
The ones to trust...
Are the ones who turned their lives to dust.
'Throw to them pennies.
To brighten their blues.
Just throw to them pennies.
They'll find them to use.
For something to value and grin!'
