Analysis of I smile and wonder if I’m confused.

I smile and wonder if I’m confused.
Hands are cold and it feels good to press them over my eyes.
Creating dark sleeves over the sky
Crispy patches on leather
Lips purse and breathe faintly.
Careful not to set myself on fire.
Banging on the gas, hoping for more
The road eats the miles.
The bliss, the faith, the careless
Gravely I can wake up tomorrow.
