Analysis of Child O Child
Child O child of virgin birth
Fully Lord over all the earth
A baby born a sinless life
Holy savior from heaven on high
Child O child star of night
Wanderers led by its light
Brought gifts of frankense, myrrh, and gold
To praise O child of ancient old
Child O Child born to die
In a manger where you cried
For the world you lived for the cross
Where nails pierced through evil’s loss
Child O Child you’re coming again
In the clouds will meet you when
We’ll reign with you 1,000 years
Us as your bride you’ll wipe our tears
Child O Child from manger to King
There’s no more death you took it’s sting
Father God, Lord, and Holy Ghost
Forever you’ll be our heavenly host
