Analysis of Pachyderms

Pachyderms
on July 27, 2023

They walked them right past us

The parking lot and the swing sets

Schedule said 12:15

Down to the Lake

Lion Safari special feature.

Old Lady named Gladys had

Chatted with us for a while.

She reached out and

Smacked the butt of the biggest

Her grandson screamed and ran

To hide behind the slide.

All attention turned to

South side of Lake.

Down they went as

A leathery kickline

Such that the aqua show was next,

Our hearts slowed

Down a bit.

Never once was there

A trumpeting ejaculation.

Just get ‘em to the Drink.

And watch their trunks

Do other-worldly things.

People returned to casual banter

As if nothing extraordinary

Had ever happened.

Dropping wrappers and

Staffers in zebra-striped Jeeps

Wiping sweat from their foreheads.

Playing paper-scissors for a Lunch Break.

And cool fluids.
