Analysis of Rooftop Lullaby

Softly tapping over above,
Comforting, steady and light.
Music to the ears at the end of the day,
Like a gentle massage, a much-needed respite.
   -  the rooftop lullaby

Every Spring and Summer we anticipate the sound,
The need to sit and be still, to relax in the quietude.
To have the peace of mind, knowing no interruption,
At the same time hearing its sweetest tune.
   -  the rooftop lullaby

Nature’s remedy of calming the soul,
From the stresses of the day, and the worries that were cast.
Like a soothing balm, gently washing away,
For the moment, leaving the strains in the past.
   -  the rooftop lullaby

Oh, sweet music, it is to our ears,
Even in the night’s light, so peaceful and still.
No other sound comes close to compare,
The melody of each drop, will’s the mind to fill.
    -  the rooftop lullaby
