Analysis of Tell Me
Who am I
without you?
A man
with half a heart?
A lover
without his intended?
A lost soul
without a Heaven to go to?
And who are you
without me?
A girl with just the scar
of my beating heart?
A beautiful shadow
too far to stand beside?
A real Heaven
my life is no longer bound to?
Tell me, Love,
before it’s too late,
and too far gone…
Are we merely a lie
we can never leave behind?
Are we questions that can only be asked,
but never answered?
Or are we a vital truth
still left to find?
Tell me, Love.
