Analysis of Swoon
Charles Fields II 1955 (Fort Bragg, NC)
Interconnections lost and found,
Visions in pieces A puzzle of images
Particles in motion with common threads
A mosaic of random expressions
NOT
You …and i
Impressions never lost in transition
Disrobing, if not discarding
All trace of civility as we cast off clothing
Dropping them loosely in rapid fire succession
As we gasp, sigh... kiss our inhibitions goodbye
Throwing ourselves deliberately into the fire,
Unafraid of what consequences may transpire
Indifferent to the connotations. Feeding our desires/inspiring a renewed sense of being...
Beyond the realm of recreational sex
Although reasons we connect
May have roots in an elemental naturalistic tech
A drive to survive/return/stay beside you
Which may leave lasting emotional kismet
Upon reaching saturation, soon enough
An embrace finds us falling back into…
Scents, sounds, the sensation of tastes
Blurred in our haste to fulfill the urge
With cups overfilled, begging to be spilled
In ways not wasteful as we coo and trill
like lovebirds climbing each other’s body/mind
As vines, winding ourselves into positions Reminiscent as the movement of dancing leaves
In the wind, raindrops rising back to sky again
Our limbs reaching to have to hold each other
Entwined to blossom inside ...and soon
Winding up relaxed/reclined with sensations
So resonant exploring backgrounds of our minds
With the scent of incense, sounds of wind chimes Which echo through our souls
With sensations as exciting as flying…
Our respirations calling closely
To one another as lapping waves kiss
Overtaking shorelines peaking as they curl
Then, drop again and again,
Racing back and forth across time
Carried by the wind
Like sand kiss…
and waters replies
Basking under suns warm embrace
Radiant heat penetrating to the core...
In such a spontaneously combustible state,
Naked souls as we are ...
enjoined
Instantaneously permeating,
percolating,
Sublimation…
wanting, needing…
More, more…
