Analysis of Reflection
Dark brown eyes staring back at me
Who is she?
You can see the pain that has taken ownership of those dark brown eyes
White hairs streaking through her black, curly hair.
You ask “ how are you still standing?” while tears stream down your face
She responds “the pain I’ve endured has only taught me strength; chin up queen you got this.”
Looking back at those dark brown eyes now I can see is me.
