Analysis of Her Rage

Delia J. Fry 1943 (Los Ageles)

No time for ancient ruins
Or the dalliance of buffoons
Not with the ache of this day
As I mourn with the jay

The once most beautiful face
Now shrouded in amber lace
In death, it shields the rage
Like makeup upon the stage
