Analysis of intertwined

bind me to you
with cloth and string
and make it so
i can hold you
forever

and make it so
if you ever let go
or pull away
it may tear me
apart

leave me torn
in tatters
crack my chest
and eat my heart
whole

fill my lungs
with tears
let the salt
corrode
it’s walls

and drown my
scattered bits
in you
