Analysis of My Nails His Hands

The Greatest Day, to slay THE KING
Nothing held back, nothing unseen
Our Victorious Day,
at the price of Your Life
You fulfilled it, our souls redeemed it
the day for Jesus to fulfill the final promise
He didn’t have to do it but we needed Him
Every soul tugging at His hem

Not my hands, they would not do
You could do it, it had to be You
It was our nails in Your Hands
our physical reuniting with The Spiritual
So we cry out for Your pain
Cry out for Your suffering
the stained blood we now wear
is our Righteous Robe to behold

With Your Words You promised
with Your hands You fulfilled it
It was our nails You endured
it was Your suffering, our cure
From the foundations of the earth You knew,
so the garden of Gethsemane You pursued

to fulfill the Greatest Gain, salvation rang
it was salvation’s pain, that salvation rang
