Analysis of The Villain
A lot of people think villains are the enemy, but I disagree,
I think they are just living in their truth and trying to change history,
Now there are a few that sometimes do a little too much,
But a lot of villains are just following their own path and don’t fit in with the bunch.
Why they don’t fit in, I will never know, but I know their story is never heard,
Nobody takes the time to hear them out, so they try to take what they think they deserve,
Loneliness and sadness can turn a bright soul very dark,
Betrayal and hatred is why most villains start their arc.
I find it interesting that most villains are willing to die about their beliefs,
The whole world is against them, but they remain prideful and never retreat,
Everybody wants to be a hero, but that’s how a villain view themselves,
They don’t realize that a person will go through hell to get what they want when they have no help.
So next time, when you are sitting down, eyes locked onto a show, anime, or movie, give the villain a chance,
Most of the time you and the villain can relate, only if you take a deeper glance.

About this poem
I came up with this idea as I was watching a show. Right before the villain died, they explained and went over his backstory. I related to it, and he ended up dying standing up, which was really impactful.
