Analysis of Vain

You crave anything but spiritual.
Lost in the new world.
Compliments behind glass feeding your ego,
Reassuring you that life is a movie.
Cameras and attention swallow you whole.
Out of tune with your spirit, emotions, your soul
Empathy gone. Invisibility near.
The only one that you love is the one in the mirror.
