Analysis of Legacy

Charles Fields II 1955 (Fort Bragg, NC)

Although it may seem to some
you are lost to us,

You are with us.

You enrich and make a difference
In our lives as we continue to grow

Your presence affects how we
View the world

As we continue in our struggles.

With impressions
of your life upon us

Changing how we view ourselves
as you guide us

As our spiritual journey continues
Touching our spiritual being

We feel uplifting effects in your presence

Which carry us thru crucial moments
As milestones in our lives happen

We continue to feel
we will prevail

Somehow, at times

Though our very lives
may hang in the balance

We live on with you
in our memory

This is the legacy
given us In you
