Analysis of Arc of Loving

Charles Fields II 1955 (Fort Bragg, NC)

It's a love dance
as lovers we do in life,

Finding peace, only
when we are both are free

To share our loving selves
with an intensity,

Which we discover
when we learn

To free each other,
spiritually

it feels so
very special

we would not want
to have it any other way ...

It’s a beautiful ballet,
it's poetry in motion...

Emotions flowing
with hearts growing

so warmly,
Between us

as our seams are joined

our worlds blending
naturally,

as our differences become
of less importance...

Then, suddenly
they're gone,

Leaving us calmer
and more reassured,

Eyes open to
a new life with freedom,

Allowing us
to show each other love

With healthy respect,
devotion

Growing continually
until it blossoms

Into the loving truth

to become the ritual
Of all we do...

What else
could you expect ...

When the person
you feel love for

Is working
a special magic,

Just for you
