Analysis of Let’s move forward
Cynthia novotny 1984 (Wilmington de)
No matter what people are going through
Don’t let your mind wonder in this place
It’s not the light your reaching out to
You don’t want your mind to be in the dark
Let us not go back in to our past versions
But instead let them be a distant memory
Before they keep on bringing you down
You don’t need them in your corner if they are
I understand when the past is brought up
It brings back hard feelings in our lives
That we just don’t ever want to remember
Let us just move forward with our lives
I just want to start a fresh life over with you
I don’t want no more animosity towards people
I feel life is just way too short to be negative
But instead you just keep your heart hurting
