Analysis of As she lived to love she would die to love

Richard J Edwards 1960 (Ft Belvoir)

Love still lingers in her heart and soul on her clothes and on her mind. The days were easy to get through because of him. Everything was brighter and better for her when he was around. She'd confessed with all her being that this one would be the final one. Then fate stepped in and he went home to the Lord. She fell apart and swore she'd never love again. Her heart gave no guarantees that it'd hold up for the chance that someone new would grow with her and then go away. She toiled with this. Her heart said no way but her mind said why not one chance is better than no chance. If she said yes she knew she couldn't do it half way. She knew she always has to go full in on loving someone. She cried many nights over this. Once she made up her mind she felt an ease. Then she looked out the window and thought she saw someone from her past so she opened the door and ran across the street calling out his name but no reply. It was dark out and the truck driver did not see her until it was to late. Her heart and mind would no longer be lonely.
Her Love will now be returned and appreciated in Heaven.
