Analysis of Song of the wind

A soul moves effortlessly
through space/time

Tending a body/spirit/mind
as assigned By cyclical staged life forms

following ancient lines
Traveling through life amid others of kind

With myriad means of connection
to find answers to the question

of the destiny of the legacy of humanity

between waves of selective cooperation
or conquest sounds of war drums

sticks stones sharpened animal bones
poisons of every manner of description

hallucinogenic potions and powders
And psychological warfare catastrophic disease vectors

unleashed in league with swords, arrows and spears,
advanced systems of killing beyond the ability of ordinary folk

in parallel with Simultaneous expressions of love and emotion
Breathing, heart beating in/out spiritual vibes

Energetic pulses shared between entities
Led by voices in the wind without beginning or end

Love and hate in the beginning
of human time

When written word and language
Were far from commonplace

our fertile, intelligent
albeit underdeveloped sense of mind

Ruled our actions,

we fought over things that mattered to survive
when we as human creations

beginning to act in ways more defined
Before good and evil divided us

Even across language barriers, religious beliefs
And even along racial lines

We developed strengths,
seeking to overcome our weaknesses

To show ourselves, as people who cared
If you believe in such things?

Before there were concepts
of ties of truth and honor

treaties to resolve disputes
parties between the two

and of studied forms of deceit
to undoubtedly topple a potential enemy

We have continued to reinforce our bonds
through our words as we have grown beyond

familiar tribal ancestral roles and later societal rules
as institutions first realized out of desperation

as costs for defense grew exponentially
Training camps for citizenship rights

by people who shared wisdom
gained throughout their lives,

leaving signs of their influence
long after their days had passed.

It is about making ties to help us survive
Even this day some still last but not so fast

Liars and cheats still
do their worst to upend the lives

of those distracted or confused
Before there were graves or organized rituals

We grew sideways with knowledge of fire and horses
war machines wheels and raising grain

still specialists in hurt death and pain
Made their contributions to the war kings

paying tribute to the war
led small consolation to the war dead

Still, as we continue looking to the stars
In the heavens

we learned reasons for the seasons

Making places for higher learning
havens of and for the ranking wealthy or privileged

Unless you were one of the more fortunate people
having family mentors believing what they taught

Even risked their lives
Before churches and schools took charge

Commonplace as they might be this date
In it we are left to our fate

with beliefs so strong
When reality means something else

It escapes our reasoning
take us to a place

Where suspicions
overrule facts

as life adds to
what our explanations
subtract

matter of fact

Do we respect
the process of learning?

Being a good example living
The most honorable way

Yet, we still practice human sacrifice
in wars beyond end

Wouldn’t it be nice
if we could all stop and listen?

To the wisdom that
has come and gone

Like the song
of the wind
