Analysis of Foundation

I am government cheese
Spaghetti-O’s with peanut butter
and a glass of Kool-Aid, please.

I am trailer park life
humble and friendly,
with a will to survive..

I am the grassy field
where all are welcome to play
the fun, my knees forever wield.

I am the streetlamp and
the lightning bugs that light the night,
the beacons leading back to camp.

I am the water hose
surreptitiously sustaining
thirst for life and jokes

I am summer fishing
the winter hunt
and tables of many blessings

I am of Canadian blood
And hillbilly roots
A bonafide American mutt

I am my past.
molded and shaped to always find a way
to create my own path.
