Analysis of And I Started To Believe You

CHRISTINA SUTTON MASON 1959 (Frankfort)

What a romantic scene
Roses, chocolates, it was like a dream
Theaters, elegant dinners, taking exotic trips
Beautiful kisses touching my lips
He bought me beautiful dresses
That was out of this world
I would come out of the dressing room
And just twirl
He would smile at me and ask
Do you want them all?
My answer would be "Yes"
I was so excited, I felt like i was going to fall
He would wrap his arms around me
I would feel a sensual touch
And he would whisper "I love you so much"
Day by day was a beautiful and loving event
But one day he had perfume scent
I ignored it because I had started to believe
That my Love would never deceive
We were doing wonderful
Until i received an email
From a lady who said she was ready to kiss and tell
I asked my love was this true?
His reply was "Yes and we are thru"
No answers to my questions
Like When? And Why?
I received just a quiet sigh
My last words to him was
And I Started To Believe You
No dial tone, No reply
