Analysis of Fading smile

Vani Bhasin 2007 (Solan Himachal Pradesh)

And now here I stand falling apart
Self-hate consumes me all,
I see everyone there so happy
But what about me?
The one exhausting herself with every effort
Why, why am I standing here all alone and wrecked?
You told me you are "joy"
And that I can heal people with my smile,
Just like a melancholy played on a guitar
But now look at me I am barely a scar
With more deeper scars buried all inside of me
Now if someone ever looks at me it's just with an awful thought
What have I become?
A FACADE??
Here I stand falling apart!!
