Analysis of Home
When I think of home
I think of dim lights
Music playing bass shaking
You’re in the kitchen
Chicken baking
Crackin’ jokes and telling stories
Smoke and the scent of vanilla
Condensation drips off your glass
How quickly did the time pass?
Wish I could relive it slow
Man life isn’t fair
That I know
Home is the moonlight
And warm summer nights
When I drive around the city
Light fog and
The streets aren’t so busy
Home reminds me of long talks
Hugs and being tucked in at night
a water brought after I’ve gone to bed
Telling me I’m silly
Someone who’s always there
When I get home from school
No matter if work got too busy
Now those are all memories
I can only hold them near
In a home Ive made
With my the one and true
I’m glad he knew you
Because he makes home feel like you’re here too.
