Analysis of When a Man love's a Woman

C. Branham 1984 (Michigan)

When I see her, I see a future.
I see the hope that is in her eyes.
I feel the life that is springing forth from her.
She gives life its meaning.
I’m captivated by her smile, her genuine personality and her warm embrace.

She’s who I’ve been waiting for my entire life.
Her light lights up my life.
I never want to leave her presence.
She’s more than I could ever ask for.
I’ve fallen deeply in love, and I never want to get up.

About this poem

I wrote this poem because I wanted myself and others to understand what a man experiences when he's in love.
