Analysis of Sometimes On

Sometimes on.
All day and night long.
When clouds appear.
And the sky threatens storms.
One stays up.
Feeling bright to crave life to appetite.

Then sometimes off.
Comes a gloomy mode.
That same 'someone',
Displays with much attitude.

Who is it,
That is not sometimes on.
And positive, uplifting as if they live to exist,
To give and share a smile that seems...
Free and immuned of worries.
Happy-go-lucky and that happiness stays.
Even after witnessing them,
Tripping on sidewalks to then fall down...
A flight of stairs.

Who is it not seen,
Grumpy!
Complaining about everything they've got.
Under a clear cloudless sky.
To hear heard them say,
They left their keys locked inside a car.
And forget their cellphone to call friends,
Awaiting to know if or if not,
They should wait any longer...
On a yacht equipped they are taking on a trip.
To the Virgin Islands.
Then back to catch fish.
Off the coast of Cape Cod.

'Officer?
Officer you have to help me quick.
The keys to my Mercedes,
I locked up inside and did not know it!'

'Oh?
Is that all?
The way you were waving and screaming.
I thought you had been attacked.
And threatened by thieves.
What is your emergency?'

'My friends are waiting for a call from me.
On their yacht they invited me to take.
To cruise around the Virgin Islands.
Maybe we would stop to shop,
For gifts and impressive trinkets.
Then go to Cape Cod.
With fishing equipment they've got.
I would not need.'

'Tell me this...
Why are you here at the mall?'

'I needed to buy a bathing suit,
Sun glasses and a wide brim straw hat.
Then I went where they sold fishing gear.
Just in case one of them,
Forgot to also supply all the beer!
So...
After I remembered,
I did not need fishing gear.
I thought I should at least buy champagne.
And that's where I was going.
When I forgot the keys locked up in my car.
Reached for cellphone?
Ran back and there it was.
Inside the car buzzing on the passenger seat!'

'Do your friends have any idea,
You may be...'

'Well,
To be honest, yes.
They know I can be a mood changer,
Sometimes.
But,
At other times they think I am a bit...'

'Where's your car?'

'Inside the garage.'

'On what level is it?'

'I keep it waxed.
Some think it's brand new too!'

'ON WHAT LEVEL IS YOUR CAR,
INSIDE OF THAT GARAGE.
WHAT COLOR IS THE CAR?
MAKE AND MODEL OF IT? GEEESSSHHH!'

'OH?
SO it's going to be like that?
Someone got up on the wrong side,
Of the bed this morning!'

'Oh yeah?
And someone is going to be left,
Wishing they showed more respect.
Any guesses?'

'It's too late.'

'Too late?
Too late for what?'

'Now I can't remember,
If it was the Mercedes I drove.
Or my wife's Lexus.
Always it is the last time,
She is wanting something undeserved.
At the wrong time and at my expense.'

'You know, sir?
Sometimes I wish I chose to be a fireman.
And other times I wish,
I was not convinced to stay married.'

'That makes no sense at all.'

'I know.
None of it does anymore!'

'What about my car?'

'Sometimes I ask myself,
Which is more important.
Keeping my mental health.
Staying cheerful and positive.
Being a good.
Knowing I should show I care for others.
Or...
Should I ask for a divorce.
And in these days?
Both are difficult decisions to make!
But...
A few more like you,
Is all I need...
To know what I should do.'

'Divorce your wife?'

'Are you kidding?
No!
I'm going to suggest to her,
Both of us take a much needed vacation.
And leave behind what is stressing us out!'

'Oh...
I remember now.
My son has the Mercedes.
My daughter is using the Lexus.
And my brother-in-law,
Came early this morning.
And told me to take his BMW.
Because he was going to begin walking.
To stay in physical shape.
He's the nut in the family.
One if those health nuts.'

'Okay.
So what are we looking for?'

'I just told you.
We're looking for a BMW.
And my friends believe I'm absent minded!'

'Sir?
May I make a recommendation to you?'

'When and if we find this car.
Don't go anywhere else but to your house!
And I'll provide you with escort service.'
