Analysis of Black Magic Poetry

He started out writing a song
Though vocally he couldn't sing
The lyrics came out all wrong
His voice didn't have the zing

Visited one day by a wizard
Suggested he should try poetry
Promised to convert him into a bard
If he became his apprentice immediately

His lyrics turned into old poetry
People were shocked at what they read
Noticed a plagiarized similarity
To words of poets that were dead

Didn't expect this would happen at all
Wizard explained it was part of the deal
Shouldn't have dealt away his soul
It's the source that makes your poetry real
