Analysis of An Elegy/Heterogeneous
In a sense, I'm bitter.
Ravaging through melted thoughts containing boredom and unread, mental literature.
Between doctors who say it's benign, and cancer.
Trusting in professionals has me in a tail spin.
All I want to do is cry but all the eyeball water wells are dry.
Single mothers are stressed enough fighting to
keep our children safe in a world the Devil runs.
Now I have to worry about myself.
I cannot be selfless anymore.
Selflessness caused me to let my lumps go unnoticed too many times ago.
When you check your breasts,
check your neck.
The little butterfly isn't going to tell you there is a problem.
When you check your breasts,
check your neck.
In this life we have to save our own lives.
