Analysis of Slow Down

This is your life.
Keep it level.
Do not sell it
to the devil.

Do not fret
and do not worry.
No need to spend
life in a hurry.

Take your time.
Enjoy the pace.
Be aware
of time and place.

Enjoy this moment.
Be alive right now,
not fretting ahead
asking why and how.

Yesterday’s gone
Tomorrow’s not here.
With old age creeping,
this moment is dear.

About this poem

I don't even remember when I wrote this poem, but reviewing my book of poetry, decided I liked the poem's pace, rhyme, and message enough to share it. Though it says "slow down" it takes just a couple seconds to read, and I think that's fun.
