Analysis of Growing Up

Robert Catron 1963 (Kansas)

They say growing up is very hard to do,
Most of us don't know where to start or if we'll ever be thru.
We start out as children learning all that we can,
In hopes that someday we'll grow up as a mature woman or mature man.
We all start out with the basics and each take it from there,
Praying for patience thru the hard times with each prayer.
We're all going to make mistakes that's all part of God's plan,
By thinking positive - keeping your hopes up - and doing the best we can.
As long as we learn from our mistakes the hardest part is done,
So growing up really and truly can be a lot of fun.
As long as we try our hardest - there's no way we can fail,
Just put your hearts and minds into it - and you'll always prevail.
