Analysis of You

halfway through a bottle of wine,
I say farewell,
you lovely lady,
harbinger of grace.
like petals dancing
in a gentle breeze,
you flit away.
melancholy veils
my inner shores,
as you depart,
to dwell where echoes sleep,
where fickle clocks collapse
in endless slumber,
and vows of remembrance
eternally seep.
in your goodbye,
whispers beckon forth,
reminding me
that time remains relentless,
because in your absence,
memories retire,
lost in the depths
where ocean's tears descend.
and as I watch you fade
into the night,
my spirit weeps,
bereft of your embrace,
though bound by distance,
across eternal chasms,
your radiance will forever
leave its trace.
goodbye, beautiful soul,
sweet lady of fond dreams,
my wish is for destiny
to guide you to a tranquil rest,
while I, with mournful eyes
and heavy sighs,
will tend to the memories
you've left behind.
