Analysis of Eternal Nights
Time always seemed
so fleeting to me,
wings of melted waxen feathers
plummeting towards the sea.
But you say time has ceased,
you hold the golden hourglass,
and I think to myself, at the very least
I stopped with you.
You told me that we were
beings of light and energy
that traveled across the cosmos,
leaving something
just a bit stronger than memory.
We are illuminous pillars of matter
that reflect each others light
and glow all the brighter
in each other's eternal nights.
