Analysis of A Hungry Squirrel And an Ripen Apple

Dips Lawati 1974 (Chengmari)

In front of my varandah,
               With a gushing sound,
Quickly awoke me up.
                 A hungry squirrel lurking
On the top my attic roof
                 Made me attention.
Before a run on my stick,
                 Vanished it.
Alas! Where’s the falling apple?
                  Gone with greedy monster.
