Analysis of Aging ain't for sissies

Oh how looking in the mirror
With wrinkles and jiggles in places that used to be firm
Hurts my heart and makes me wince and quiver
Remembering the young girl with a perm
The outline of my silhouette is no longer curvy in the right places
I use a palette of skin creams and potions
Concocted by scientists and sold by models with pretty faces
Do they know the tingle and itch they’ve set in motion
Everyone and anything gets on my nerves
They talk too much and call when they could text
Gravity is setting in, melting my curves
Causing a booty droop that makes me vex
I long to eat dessert without the shame
To wear my old jeans and still be able to breathe
To dance and move my body without feeling pain
Cover my mouth in cherry red lipstick and no longer grieve
