Analysis of (average)

thousands walk by but they don’t remember by face, nor do they remember at all.

I glance through the empty space for something that is out of reach, someone I used to know.

the memory might be worth more than  recovering nothing from myself, I don’t have a schedule to follow.

you look past the sand filled dune that I reside in, and lift me up and out only to put me back down.

my eyes are oceans, and my only muse has disappeared to never return back to me.

my legs direct me in your path, only for my heart to seize and turn me backwards.

so much change has happened over such little time, no apologies have been made outright to satisfy.

yesterday is decades away from right now, without a watch I can’t keep track of what was once simple for me to comprehend.

an unbreakable thread, transformed into cold soup.

i cannot confront what has left already.

i cannot hold what has been buried already.

i miss what is already lost.

i cannot fathom that i am to blame.
