Analysis of Just a poem

It's just a poem, right?
but don't you write what you feel inside?

The current you died, fading delight
Younger you, taking over your life

But you're fine. Nothing is wrong, innit?
Mentally war, despite you're physically out of it

Coping mechanism. Keeping everyone at a distance
Fcking prison. Don't want anyone's assistence
Enough headache from your own existence

So you go on with the self destruction
Poor sleep and little consumption
Waiting for the next eruption

Then you collapse, cry. You end up worse
It all feels so heavy, drained, like you're cursed
To get out of bed, you have to coerce
When everything you do feels so adverse

I understand, I have been there too.
Nevertheless you got to know, boo
That you are really important, yeah you
I want you to fight, and talk to me when you need to

Honey, please don't leave us, please don't go
You are really important, I need you to know
