Analysis of Here I am

Here I am
Naked before you, God, and men
I present myself to you as an unholy, shattered woman on the mends
Broken but neatly put together almost as new
Fragile on the inside
Strong on the outside
I present myself to you
Here I am

Naked without holding back
Scars and all both inside and out
Incomplete but Whole before God
Favored among men and women
Envied among peer
But I Rise
Fragile on the inside
Strong on the outside
I present myself to you
Here I am

The pains of yesterday
Still raring their heads
Some broken hearts can never mend
Yet God chose me
You chose me
Without hesitation, you chose me
With consistency and insistence, you chose me
Fragile on the inside
Strong on the outside me
I present myself to you
Here I am

You have chosen to honour
You have come to grace my life
You have chosen to favour
You have come to decorate my life
Ready to explore a life filled with promises
You picked me
Though
Fragile on the inside
Strong only on the outside
You chose me
Against all odds, you picked me
So
I present myself to you
Here I am
