Analysis of The poem I never thought I'd write
Ruben Padilla-Baez 1987 (Carolina)
Blindfolded by ego I fell hard into the abyss,
surrendered let you rule over my heart, for you, it
bleeds
Keeps me up at night, I rage like a savage beast, still
I want you next to me, without you, I can not sleep
My love for you, kills my disdain, and to this day It
Remains, I will fight to the death for you,
even knowing that I would die in vain.

About this poem
This poem wrote itself from real feelings of what I'm currently going through. Might not even be a poem since I feel every word cutting through me but maybe someone can relate so here it is.
