Analysis of What happened to your world
This once was such a pretty world
No longer is this true.
Gangs, drugs and suicide
Fill the streets we knew.
Hatred comes from all around
While love and peace are rarely found.
Everyday a war breaks out
And people have to die.
Fathers morn their fallen sons
While Mothers sit and cry
Media pushes key point lies
So we post, hash tag and share.
Though when time comes to act
Not a single one will care.
I don't believe too much in God
Or heaven up above
Nor how Jesus died upon the cross
To prove his endless love
Though if it's tru and really there
I hope we get there soon
And hear his soulful melody
So sweetly played in tone.
