Analysis of Come Captives of the Mind

Come captives of the mind,
And sing a song of wine.
For the old roads are burning,
And your time is running out.
There's no place to run and hide.
There's no-one you can cry to.
It's time for the harvest,
Of all men's doubts and fears.
The children are sighing,
They can't play with all the rules,
And my heart is aching,
For company and love.
