Analysis of The Doorway To Your Heart

The Doorway To Your Heart
By Matthew Mernagh

I wanna see the story in your eyes
I wanna read the chapters of your life
I wanna step outside my comfort zone
I wanna reach the chamber of your soul

I wanna lay with you beneath the stars
I wanna wipe your tears and kiss your scars
I wanna care for you when you get sick
I wanna smell your hair and taste your lips

I wanna hold your hand and see you smile
I wanna spoil you and your sweet child
I wanna sing a thousand songs for you
I wanna leave love letters in your shoes

I wanna put rose petals on your bed
I wanna be your lover and your friend
I wanna walk you home when it gets dark
I wanna find the doorway to your heart
