Analysis of How Do I Tell You

But How Do I Tell You

His silent footsteps echo in the corridors of the past
Yet whispers still attach themselves to his heart
Holding onto a dream of a love that couldn’t last
And memories of the past softly cry

The echoes of silence haunt where once her voice thrived
And in the quiet his heartache is an orchestra
Why oh why was love so fragile, like a candle barely alive
Will the silence ever be silent

The echoes of silence are a cold embrace
Holding a heart thst just wants to cry
A love so vibrant has gone
But when will the silence let him say goodbye.

My heart speaks but no one hears
Words of feelings, emotions unchained
Pouring out my hopes and fears
But how do I tell you

Through moonlit nights and sunlit days
My hearts holds a hesitant voice
Seeking to speak in so many ways
But how do I tell you

Should my heart paint in words a canvas of desire
To tell your sunshine fills an empty space
That I seek a spark to light a sleeping fire
But how do I tell you

My heart knows what is true
That you are a melody of wonder
It longs to say “I love you”
But how do I tell you.
