Analysis of Daylight Saving Time
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Daylight to save time procrastinating.
The doing of less.
To get that more accomplished?
And...
Just what difference would time to save it,
Make to prevent the cost of living...
Fall back to a time,
When a penny saved these days...
Would take,
At least 365 of them.
Plus another two years added.
With fingers crossed.
To purchase a loaf of bread.
And maybe a dozen of eggs.
If co-pays of prescribed medications,
Doesn't leave anyone deciding...
Which is more of benefit to keep,
From losing the loss of sleep.
Turning a clock one hour ahead.
Unprepared to hear birds chirp.
Confused by time they begin to sing,
Regardless who celebrates Spring.
Before it comes to anticipate it done!
Like flowers blooming,
Nolonger awaiting for April showers.
To admire in May to bring!
The only thing that continues to change.
Is the climate!
